Your gym nemesis is not completely wrong – extra virgin olive oil (Evoo) has some impressive health benefits.

But should you deceive it directly as if it were a team of tequila? Well, that’s another story.

Olive oil, especially the extra virgin type, is packed with healthy unsaturated fats and polyphenols, which are essentially superheroes for your gut.

These compounds help lower inflammation, balance of blood sugar and promote good bacteria in your gut. Some studies even suggest that it can facilitate digestion and bloating.

Sounds great, right?

But here is the hit – drinking it straight will not give you immediate abs or transform your digestive system overnight.

It is a long -term amplifier, not a magical drug. Think about how to use a good moisturizer-wishing to wake up without wrinkles after a use, but over time, it makes a difference.
