The modernist house of 9,000 square meters, named for two elongated bar-like structures perpendicular to form a L-shaped structure, most recently closed for $ 17.77 million, according to the real estate firm found.

The new owner of the Bari House, who works in technology, will become neighboring with the likes of actor Neil Patrick Harris and fashion stylist Donna Karan, said Tenenbaum.

“This property really spoke to him,” Tenenbaum told his client. “There is so much intimacy. It is sitting in almost 13 hectares, and is surrounded by 500 hectares of East Hampton City Preservation.”

The windows from the floor to the ceiling wrap the glass and steel house. One section offers views of the landscape Treesy and provides cover for an outdoor living space below with excess moon lights like excess moon.

The terrace contains a fireplace and an open kitchen with a pizza oven, a sink, a refrigerator, an ice manufacturer, a construction grill and a dining area. Around the corner is a curvilinear structure that holds up that end of the “grass” with an entrance to the S curve that, like an airport, leads to an inner bathroom. Outside, there are two outdoor showers.

The area supervises a 60 -foot pool.

The other section of five bedroom apartments, five baths, two half bathrooms is a story at ground level. There, a large living area features 12-legged ceilings, bluestone flooring with radiation rays and a two-sided-like fireplace and a kitchen with marble countertops and high-level blues. There are also two bedrooms with their baths – plus laundry, dust and mud rooms.

The most unusual interior part of the house can be a second -wing master bathroom, an open space where the floor, made of marble imported from Turkey, performance an unusual task.

“The ceiling has two large shower heads that are embedded … They do not project at all,” said Manhattan Audrey Matlock’s architect, who designed the Bari house and worked with Lettieri Construction -based Hamptons to build the 2016 house. “No Wals Dush.”

Instead of piling between the tiles, the water drains in a pan under the floor of the room, which measures about 15 to 20 meters, she said. “You just stay in the room and take a shower” while the stick of the batak naturally, Matlock said.

Bari’s house includes outdoors with the house, said Tenenbaum. “Although it is modern, from any English, from any room, you can see all these natural,” he said.

The annual assets taxes are $ 35,042.

In the agreement race, Tenenbaum said he brought the buyer to see the sun fall.

“He stayed for two hours because we looked at the sunset on the property,” Tenenbaum said. “It was just a startling kind.”

The clashes between the windows are zinc panels that function on the outside as elements of the exterior design, while providing intimacy-and in the interior offer a building gallery space to display large-scale art, Matlock said. “The idea was that a dozen big Peaces are sailing between forest views,” she said.

The property also comes with a sunken tennis field, geothermal heating and cooling, a attached studio and a two -cars garage, according to the list. It is protected from a black -painted chain fence, where local plants grow in the structure in order to disappear, Matlock said.

The design, she said, lasted 1½ to two years, and the construction about four.

Northwest Woods is the area north of East Hampton Village on the west side of the three -mile port, Tenenbaum said.

Sellers, who are New Yorkers, were sold because they are moving west to work, Matlock said. She said it was “crushed” that the house was sold because “it was done for them, and they were so happy there.”

“We, as architects, also approach the things we do, you know, and sometimes it’s like,” Oh no, no, she’ll go to someone else now, “she said.

Susan Ryan I Compass ranked home in June for $ 18.5 million.

“This is the first domestic property in most Hamptons that I can think of what you are selling at this price point,” she said.

Tennbaum agreed, saying, “There is nothing in the northwestern forests sold in this number.”

Ryan described Bari’s house as a one-one-a-tile with unprecedented intimacy that is likely to promote the highest prices in the city of East Hampton, which is known for its large land.

“Whenever you have something that is unique that is transferred to a high price point, I think people pay attention, right?” She said. “So I think people will look a little more in this area.”
