The bare minimum you will expect from a submission driver is that they do their best to ensure that your package gets to its destination on one piece.
But an Aussie has exposed it once and for all, they don’t even try – and people are not happy about it.
“This is joking”
An Aussie Redditor has received in the app by exposing their local distribution driver.
In the video, caught in a home security camera, you can see the driver pull home, park out, and then wait a few seconds before going out – without doing anything done to get out of the car or send the package.
“This is joking,” the poster said.
“And now I have to get it as there was no” no place safe to leave it “… how to get out of your F -King van and call the door you got caught in ????
“And of course there is nowhere to make a proper complaint and the post office staff say” We can do nothing after they are contractors “… this woman does this every time. Once she pulled out. She sat there for 15 minutes, then left.
“She has to be fired.
“Rant. Thanks.”
Although there is no visible logo in the courier van, the video was posted on the Subreddit R/Australiapost.
The poster confirmed that the package they were waiting for was a pack of dogs working for dogs – hardly a difficult task.
“She didn’t even try!”
The commentators in the post were just as frustrated for the video.
“She didn’t even try!” said one person.
“Fraud, someone paid Australia after giving one package, this is not clear,” another said.
“I have to say. I’ve laughed at the way she just leaves. Now it’s a pistkening,” said a third person.
“Also breaking two parking laws there I think: parking on the wrong side of the road and beyond a road.
Many were even encouraging the poster to make an official complaint.
“We have complained about Australia post for repeated works like this and we have corrected it,” a person noted.
“After a complaint … it doesn’t matter it’s a contractor, Auspost contracts the contractor. You have evidence that is gold,” said another.
“Australia Post has strict protocols …”
In a state in Kidspot, Australia Post also encouraged the post to make a complaint if they already have, saying the incident is a violation of their rules for drivers.
“Australia Post has strict protocols in the country for distribution drivers, asking them to know three times, wait 30 seconds and take a photo of the front door or intercom,” said a spokesman.
“Customers with distribution concerts are encouraged to contact us in 13 posts (13 7678) so that we can investigate.”
