Sorry my Frenchman.
The French bulldog still has the hearts of dog owners – but another race is slowly winning people, according to a report from the US club Kennel.
For the third year right, the French bulldog has received no. 1 country as the most popular dog breed in the United States.
The French Bulldogs sat down to no. 14 Back in 2012 and did it to no. 2 Spots by 2021. In 2022, the French left with the most popular title, destroying Labrador Retriever, which sat quietly at no. 1 for 31 years before the cubs came with the Bat Bat signature.
Retrievers Labrador came to second place this year, followed by Golden Retriers in the third, German shepherds in the fourth and Poodles in the fifth.
The French are gaining popularity thanks to their small size and suitability – which makes them suitable for a lifestyle of apartments, according to AKC.
This is probably why the French Bulldog took first place as the most popular race in New York City for the 11th.
“The love affair with the French bulldogs in New York City is strong,” said executive secretary of Akc Gina Dinardo in a statement. “The adaptable, adaptable race makes a great companion for the apartment or peripheral life, but don’t forget to do research to make sure you find the right race for your lifestyle.”
The French are known to be playful, vigilant, loving and “completely irresistible”.
While the popularity of the French shows no sign of slowdown, Cane Corso has gained withdrawal as she was officially recognized by AKC in 2010.
According to AKC, registrations for Cane Corsos increased by 414%, going from the 48th most popular race in 2014 to no. 14 in 2024.
Cane Corsos – whose name translates approximately into “bodybuilding” in Latin – are known to be intelligent, eager to satisfy, comprehensive and intensely loyal to their humanity – thought they are also affirmative and intentional, AKC said.
