Ideal time to drink coffee for peace energy levels – and how many cups should you have a day

There is nothing like that first cup of coffee in the morning – the one who feels like turning you from a heavy mess into a productivity machine with just a few sips.

But if you are someone you like to have your morning coffee once your feet hit the ground, we can have some bad news for you.

Drinking it as soon as you wake up, it can actually be confused with the natural energy of your body, means that you are more likely to need glasses two, three or four later.

“The ideal time for drinking coffee is usually in mid-late morning or approximately 60-90 minutes after waking up,” Nichola Ludlam-Rine Nichola Ludlam-Rine told the coffee friend, adding that this is usually around 9:30 to 11:30 in the morning if you wake up between 7 and 10am.

If you wait for an hour sounds like medieval torture, Ludlam-Rine suggests gradually adjusting by pushing time back with 15 minutes every day to get there.

And remember that there are natural ways to wake up, how to shower and take a little sunlight.

If you tend to want a second cup immediately, you may want to give it a minute.

It may be rare, but, in extreme cases, people have died of caffeine overdose.

“For most adults, up to 400 mg caffeine a day is considered safe,” said Ludlam-Rine. This translates to:

  • Four small cups of brown produced (about 90-100mg)
  • Five to six shots of expression (about 65-80mg each)
  • Two to four largest cafe -style drinks
