Shower ‘Loofah’ turns out to be something much more terrible – but ‘surprisingly beautiful’

This makes fun in the fungus.

A Reddit user has gone viral on the social media platform after sharing a real science experiment involving an “sponge appearance” in her room shower.

Shocking images recently separated from the user this Scratch8016 received over 18,000 upvota through a Reddit subforce, mostly in /r /Moldly interesting where it initially described the turn of wild wild events.

“I left it for a while because I was interested and wanted to see what it would look like or end up doing,” she wrote in her original post.

“It was really interesting to look for a while, but I’m glad I fixed it because it’s not healthy,” she added.

Despite her appearance as Loofah, the citizens’ scientist knew that she had some kind of fungi that infected her home.

She told Newsweek, “At first, she began to look like a loofah and then eventually turned into a small mushroom, and would change very soon.”

“I moved the sponge thing and continued to come back, so I left it to see what it would do even though I know it’s bad. I was just so interesting.”

Eventually, a full blooming mushroom with a brown top and white stem emerged from the orange-in-one growth which she finally removed her friend of the Michel room.

Reddit users respond with equal parts pleasure and horror.

One Gawker claimed that this scratch8016 may have a “whole mycelial network” that colonizes the walls of her home.

“It is very nice,” added a scarf enthusiast.

Despite her obvious need for a clear clear, an ecological enthusiast also withdrew, “Thank you for being a scientific observer and let the mushrooms grow. I appreciated it.”

According to cleaning experts in clear rescue 911 – Florida -based, where moisture creates an ideal environment for the fungus to grow – some factors including high heat, excess moisture and low lighting are the fault for fungi between us. In such conditions, fungi can be found growing across bathrooms, tile walls, window screens, nylon shower curtains, walls or ceilings, especially if sewage and rotting wood are present.

Safe treatment and deep cleaning are critical as many types of fungi can be poisonous, while their extended spores can lead to black mold, experts warn.
