A cost -conscious woman who threw a good job to follow her passion for Dumpster Diving claims to have saved $ 50,000 in clothing and other essentials in just two years.
Melanie Diaz, 22, developed a trash taste after watching someone else’s social media videos saving from commercial and housing fertilizers.

“Ever since I started diving Dumpster, I have spared a lot of money,” said the creator of independent content. “I have used the money to put toward traveling around the world.”
Diaz chose her hobbies for waste receipt in 2023, after seeing others showing their successes in apps like Tiktok.
“I was like ‘wow. That’s true” and decided to go to start doing it in full time, “she said.
Its bigger attractions come from landfills in TJ Maxx, Homesense and Homegoods stores, she said.
“Homesense has been the best store to go because all I have found still has labels – all the items are completely new. Most of the things I find shouldn’t be in the warehouse,” Diaz said.

“I don’t sell the items I find, I’ll give things I don’t want to keep,” she said. “I am original from Colombia, so I will send home items where people can use them.”
