After a long day at work, there is nothing better than returning home, starting shoes and ordering a delicious and warm pickup.
But recent research from China suggests that simply setting hot food in plastic intake containers can give you heart problems – even if you do not microwave it.
The researchers conduct experiments on mice, exposing them to water that were boiled and placed in plastic pickup lids for different channels – one, five and 15 minutes – for a period of three months.
The results were alarming.
Researchers also discovered significant damage to the micardial or heart muscles that guide them to conclude that “high frequency exposure to plastic is significantly associated with an increased risk of congenital heart failure”.
Since plastic exposure only came from placing hot juice in the container – without any microwave – this study suggests that simply eating hot food from the plastic that gets finished can be enough to increase the risk of heart disease.

To complete this data, researchers also asked 3,200 people to complete a study about their exposure to plastic and their cardiovascular health.
They found that those who were often eaten by plastic containers seemed to have more heart problems, especially congenital heart failure.
The study has some shortcomings. First, researchers cannot appreciate which plastic had rats in their bodies, nor did any of the rodents develop full -scale cardiovascular sadness.
Meanwhile, the human study was based on self-reported findings than on the results of the laboratory, and researchers admit that the connection between the containers of taking and cardiovascular symptoms may be second with other factors.
However, this is the latest test that suggests that microplastics in food service can cause serious health problems.
The authors of the study admitted that “further research is needed to clarify the health impacts of long -term exposure to plastic products”.
However, while it may seem extreme, they recommended that “meanwhile, prevent continuous damage from plastic products to human health, it is essential to avoid using high -temperature plastic containers.”
