The dumping pair furnished their home with free treasures and rescued $ 11k in food

Meet the domot pair who have furnished their entire home for free using items that people have dumped and saves $ 11,000 a year for food eating from the bins.

Amir Jardan, 38, and his fiancé, Ruth Moore, 27, have found treasures in landfills since 2022.

Over the years, Dorchester, Dorseset, have discovered items such as wrong ipads and drones in the trash – that Amir restores.

They have also taken their hands in rare coaches, luxury perfumes and designer clothing.

The frugal couple even has three children aged seven, five and six months-old and even refrigerator shares and pantry with bread, pasta, chocolate and crisp store

They spend up to nine hours a week breaking through the bins of their local stores-and say it has spared them $ 9,000 in total in home decor and saves them approximately $ 11,000 a year for groceries.

They have even been able to remove all their villa in Dunelm furniture they discovered in the store bin – including a slight adjustment worth $ 176, a $ 222 coffee table and carpets worth up to $ 77.

Amir, a fire alarm engineer, said: “We get an adrenaline hurry whenever we go, we can’t stop.

“You never know what you will find – it’s like treasure hunting.

“We don’t make any more purchases because you don’t get the same buzz when something is full price.

“Ruth and I are both of the humble beginnings, so we know what cost of cost is similar to what is worse than ever.

“Everything we will use or keep it, we give to charity, we are human.

“Funny fun to copy a theft, but we want to give again to people who need it and do a little for the environment.

“We are teaching our children the true value of things.

“I hope one day I start a program when I can go to schools and teach kids why Dumpster Diving is a great hobby and resource.”

Ruth, a postal, added: “Our time of connection and getting into those industrial bins is a exercise.

“Some of our materials say Amir ‘Oh, you are getting the lady back into the bins?” But it is me who is taking it!

“I know what it is like not being able to afford certain things and small luxury things, so I want we can donate things that would be in the landfill.

“Our family does not need much, so why not remove it from a warehouse?”

Coupleifti-who met in 2021 when Ruth was Postwoman of Amir-Stilli Dumpster Diving in April 2022 to continue with increasing cost.

Starting with getting items from certain bins, they found an abundance of furniture – including carpets, bulbs, hours and even a TV stand which they renovated themselves.

Shortly thereafter, I realized that they could get an entre foot store from bread, crumbs, chocolate, vegetables and meat.

Amir said: “We would know about the concept of dumping Dumpster and we were curious about what we could find.

“In our first dive, we found a lot of furniture that would say we were able to decorate our home.

“Then we moved to food and the gate closed back.

“We have spent only $ 52 a month on food, which is mostly a coffee taken because this is our treatment.”

Coupleift began documenting their adventures on YouTube in November 2023, where they have over 7k followers and share their weekly attractions.

Whatever they do not keep them donate to Bournemouth -based charity, we are humanites who provides food and other essentials to locals in need.

“We never keep more than our tools, we don’t like being greedy,” Amir said.

“If there are always that they are suitable for someone who needs them or tons of canned goods, we give them more.

“I love the community we have built online because it helps to educate people that immersing deposits is not strange.

“Fun is fun, good for the bank account and the environment.

“There is not much that we will not leave – except meat, this is where we draw the line.”
