Elon Musk, Sam Altman’s Openai in court in the war for lucrative change

Lawyers for Elon Musk on Tuesday asked a federal judge to block Sam Altman’s controversial plan-led by Openai to become a profitable entity during the highly expected court hearing.

Legal impetus is part of a wider trial changed in which Musk has accused Openai and Main Microsoft investor of violating federal antitrust law in an illegal attempt to overpower the market.

Musk claims that both he and the public suffered irreparable damage as a result and argues that Openai and Microsoft should be forced to divert any “sick” profit.

Openai has sought to dismiss the lawsuit, referring to Musk’s claims of “unfounded” and accused the world’s rarest person of engaging in an “increasingly ardent campaign to harass Openai for his competitive advantage”.

The Court’s war is part of a long-term slugfest between Musk and Altman who once collaborated to co-founded Open, but have since become bitter rivals. Musk runs Xai, who competes directly with Openai.

As Post reported, Musk won an advantage in the legal battle last month after the Justice Department and FTC Anoi with one of the main arguments of his lawsuit against Open, Microsoft and billionaire Reid Hoffman, who are all listed as defendants.

Musk argued that Openai and Microsoft violated Clayton’s act by allowing Hoffman and another executive, Deannah Tempton, serve at the same time on the boards of Openai and Microsoft.

Outside the lawsuit, Musk and Altman recently traded barbs on social media after Musk shadowed Altman’s plans to collaborate with Oracle Larry Ellison and CEO of Softbank Masayoshi Son in the Stargate Infrastructure Project “of President 500 billion dollars.

Musk is not the only entity that adjusts to block Opennai’s plans.

In December, Mark Zuckerberg Meta announced in a letter to California’s General Atttorney General Rob Bonta that allowing Openai to become a lucrative would have “seismic implications for Silicon Valley”.

“Openai should not be allowed to destroy the law by taking and re-depriving the assets he builds as charity and using them for potentially great private benefits,” Meta wrote on paper.
