Woman uses supermarket rewards program to catch cheating husband

An Australian private investigator has shared details of one of her “most outrageous” cases involving a cheating husband.

In a TikTok video, Cass explained, “My client, the wife, wanted to find out how her husband was cheating. We were pretty sure he was changing something.”

The couple lived in Queensland but her husband had made frequent trips to New South Wales to visit his family – something he rarely did before.

First, the wife checked their joint bank accounts.

She found transactions from an Australian grocer called Coles and a hardware store called Bunnings, but because there were no specific locations attached to them, she couldn’t prove anything.

Cass advised her to check if they had any shared rewards accounts, such as Everyday Rewards or Flybuys.

They had a Flybuys account, so they opened the app, revealing all the transactions.

The purchases from Coles and Bunnings were sorted by the suburb where each store was located and turned out to be in a Queensland suburb where the man’s ex-girlfriend lives.

In her TikTok caption, Cass joked, “$10 from your store but a very expensive divorce.”

In the comments section, viewers shared their stories of discovering their partners’ secret affairs.

“I nailed it! “I got mine the same way,” said one woman.

“Hope she kept the points,” quipped another.

“Most invisible cheat app,” said a third commenter.

“LinkedIn caught my ex cheating,” another person mentioned, referring to their shared hashtag account.

“I found out that my now ex-husband bought condoms and baby stuff at Big W when I was looking for a transaction on my Everyday Rewards account. We don’t have children,” someone else said.

In another TikTok clip, Cass shares a tip for catching a cheating partner that simply involves asking to use their phone.

First, tell them your phone is dead and ask to borrow theirs. In most cases, they will hand it over willingly, as they may have deleted any incriminating messages.

However, when you access their phone to write a new message, Cass recommends hitting the emoji button, which will let you see their most recently used emojis.

In one case she cited, a woman discovered that her partner had just used the eggplant emoji, commonly known to represent a penis, even though he had never sent her one before.
