Gen Z celebrates ‘full bush’ bikini hair trend: ‘Fuzzy is beautiful’

Feminist fashionistas are clamoring for more untamed manes — no matter where they grow.

An online review of a bikini has single-handedly sparked a body hair revolution. Social media was ablaze after users were caught off guard by a NSFW review that included a photo of a woman with “a full bush in a bikini,” a phrase that has become a rallying cry for body hair advocates.

“I was really radicalized by that Etsy review,” a content creator named Sujindah said in a now-viral TikTok clip. “Like, yeah, that’s the way it should be.”

They are just one of the many internet users who are declaring that bush is the best and that “fuzzy is beautiful”.

“Bush full of bikinis! Fur boots! An angel with wings!” raved one person on TikTok who called body hair a “great accessory.”

“It’s the most liberating feeling in the world. It changed my whole life,” wrote another user.

“The bushes are so hot idc,” someone else commented.

“Real men aren’t afraid to walk through the jungle,” one person quipped, while another viewer said a bush is her “favorite accessory.”

“Every time a girl loves her bush and keeps it despite societal pressure, an Angel earns her wings,” one user commented.

“Shaving a bush is the most boring and inappropriate decision a woman can make,” chided another. “It’s like cutting off your arm.”

The online discourse follows the growing body hair trend that dates back to last year, when A-listers like Julia Fox and Doja Cat promoted hair down there.

At the 2024 Grammys, the “Demons” rapper wore a beige mesh dress with a bush peeking through the fabric, while Fox wore a pair of bikini bottoms that outlined her body hair during New York Fashion Week. Not to mention, models wore merkins on the Maison Margiela runway last year.

While some people online claimed that pubic hair is a sensory nightmare, unhygienic or that they are afraid of what other people might think, one woman, who says Jessie, said her body hair – which offers health benefits such as protection from bacteria and friction. – “It has never been a problem” for any of her partners.

“It’s like my favorite thing about myself,” she said in a video.
