Some people need a break from tiktok.
One mother deliberately accepted that she broke her leg after attacking a challenge of ticking.
Claire Cave, 40, and her cousin Gemma Stephens, 29, were on vacation at Grange-Over-Sands, Cumbria, Saturday, March 1, for celebrating Stephens’s birthday when Cave decided to record a video after a trend she had seen online.
After hanging on some bars, the women returned to their hotel room when Cave decided to repeat the #droppingTingsonmyfoot challenge, which is exactly as funny as it sounds.
In the video, people fall more and more severe items on their feet from the waist height and appreciate the pain.
“Honestly, I don’t even know what came to my mind, but I think it’s just because I’ve seen so much in Tiktok and I thought” I’ll try it too, “Cave told Kennedy News.
“I tried some of those dancing and drinking them and things, but that seemed different, so I thought I would give it.”

The mother of twice and two starts throwing a spoon, which she rated 1/10 on the rate of pain, and a door stop, which she valued 2/10.
After gaining confidence, she eventually threw the hotel’s fan and a full suitcase, which she praised 8/10 and 10/10 – one of which she believed she broke her leg.

“In fact it wasn’t hurting so much at the time, just hurt for a separate second,” she insisted. “When you fasten your toe and you hold your leg is okay, you overcome it. So I just went on.”
But the next morning, when she tried to walk, she knew something was wrong.
She went to the Sunderland General Hospital on Monday, March 3, and an X -ray showed that she had broken her fourth metatarsal and suffered ligament damage, meaning she should wear a medical boot for six weeks.
“The pain was incredible,” Cave said. “I was obviously not expecting to break my leg.”

She was too ashamed to tell her doctors that she had intentionally dropped things on foot, but it is certain that this is what did it.
“I have a feeling that was suitcase or fan that broke my leg, the most severe objects. But then again, the door actually was actually feeling like hitting a well,” Cave said.
Cave admitted that her “most sensitive” cousin did not participate in stupidity, but received a good laugh.

“They will normally call me crazy from our group of girls, so I think I’m just fun but not in a very good way, unfortunately,” Cave said.
However, this will be the last time Cave will entertain her friends with a video tiktok.
“I’ve definitely learned my teaching. I will no longer make challenges, at all,” she said. “I’m very embarrassed.”
“All the bruising is moving up to my fingers, so it’s not very nice to see now. I was afraid it would do permanent damage. Honestly, I never happened that it would lead to something like that.”
Although she did not accept what happened to her doctors, she is sharing her story in the hope that she can remove someone from trying a potentially harmful or dangerous act just to be ridiculous.
After being contacted for the trend, Tiktok removed videos for violating community instructions and claimed to have blocked hashtags and trend research terms, Kennedy News reported.
