The phenomenon of seat change has sparked a lot of discussions on social media with leaflets that share stories about other travelers seeking to change places.
A user appeared to get an attitude by sharing an experience in the “R/Delta” forum in Reddit.
Titled, “Finally said no”, the user shares “a couple approached me and asked me if I could change the places with one of them so they could sit together.”
“Guys, I have to foretell saying that I have been a chronic people who satisfy my whole life and have given up on my country many times when I fly solo cuz I am short and I really don’t care as long as it is not a truly Mut’s place,” the post said.
The user said that after finishing a two-week family vacation, “I felt this flight different … I was ready to be alone”, but asked if the place was a row and it was said it was a Midfea.
“I came to this woman and her husband and just said,” No thanks. ”
The user continued, “She just got up as I stood up to allow her password and then strangely immersed in her middle seat near me while her husband slipped into his middle place a row back. Behavior and comments immediately open my nerves.”
The flight passenger added that the woman said: “This trip would simply be absolutely terrible without it [her husband] The right beside her ”and seemed to be on the verge of tears.
The user said they slipped into their headphones “pulling the noise to drown [the couple] Out and took a nap without guilt. “
Reddit users received in the comments section to discuss the bold demand to change places, with some sharing their experiences.
“Good work practice by breaking your pleasant people,” commented one user.
Another user said, “Mutual benefit is essential to search. Most people don’t get it. An ex -boyfriend of mine traded his first class with a consolation+ row so that he can sit by me. Oh, new love. Haha”
“People don’t seem to understand. If you are brave enough to ask, you have to be brave enough to handle a NO,” commented another redditor.
“We never understood this. We all appointed places,” one said.
“If they had to sit together, they could have paid for the choice of seats. I don’t understand why people are upset when others refuse to change places,” commented another person.
“I am with you! If I paid for the country, I am not changing,” said one.
“Everyone has to adhere to their weapons and maybe eventually people will stop asking others to give up their places for them,” one Redditor said.
“I am also a pleasure of people who heal and I can tell you that I would never change a line for a midfield.
California -based courtesy expert Rosalinda Randall told Fox News Digital that “no one has the obligation to change their country”.
“The person making the request has no right to wait [this] Or make a scene when they don’t get their way, ”Randall said.
Randall said there may be some circumstances in which it would be a little concern to pass.
“Is a short flight, you can find a similar place in another row, or someone would be an improvement from the passenger [you’re currently] Sitting next to, ”Randall said.
