General Z is spreading on precious concert tickets – which may be why they can’t afford to buy a home

Something to see Taylor, right?

The debt of credit cards in America has reached a comprehensive $ 18.04 trillion, according to a New York Federal Bank report. And it seems that General Z is contributing to that wild number thanks to the concert ticket purchases.

According to a Newsweek survey from the beginning of this month, young people born between 1997 and 2012 are being drowned in debt.

What are their plastic slipping for? Everything from fashion products, their favorite impacts are marketing on social media up to Taylor Swift concert tickets.

It is nothing new that the cost of concert tickets has become astronomically high in recent years, thanks to the question and many fees that come with it – but General Z is ready to go to debt to see their favorite live artists.

And the zoomers are not supplying these high concert ticket prices – because new Rakuten data revealed that 30 percent of the generation use their rental money or mortgage funds to be able to bring Carter tickets closer.

Not a smart act for the future of this generation, if they sometimes want to be homeowners – like the delinquency of credit cards, and a large debt load are both traders when it comes to death.

To make things worse financially, websites like Stubhub and live places are now offering payment plans so that people can finance their wild ticket purchases.

And General Z is taking advantage of that option-as many concerts have taken on Tiktok to connect with their financial decisions.

One user posted a video of her eating nothing “but air” by reading the overlapping text, “I eat air after using clarna to buy a $ 600 concert ticket to see Fall Out Boy and bring me the horizon as I can’t afford the food now.”

Another Creator of Content shared a video of her making a festive dance for Gwen Stefani’s “Rich Girl” with the text, “I finally paid my expensive ticket Eras from July !!! (Thank you)”.

Dr Mary Paffenroth, a biopsychologist said the day, “from a neurobiological perspective, is not surprise gen Z and Millennials are ready to borrow money for concert tickets.”

“Dopamina, a neurotransmitter that makes people feel good, is already being released in the brains of young adults who are thinking of buying tickets to see Taylor Swift or Beyoncã ©,” added Dr. Pafenroth.

The expert continued to say: “This chemical change can cause what we call the effect of the hedonic prediction. This means that we are eagerly awaiting the concert can be almost as satisfying as the concert itself.”
