Your workplace coffee manufacturer can risk you for a heart attack: study

If your morning cup is the only thing that motivates you to go to work on time, we have some news produced.

A new study by Sweden suggests that your office week can be a latte trouble for your heart.

Researchers analyzed coffee samples from 14 cars in the workplace and found that office coffee may contain higher levels of Cafestol and Kahweol – well -known compounds to raise LDL cholesterol – compared to coffee prepared elsewhere.

“The filtration process is essential for the presence of these elevated cholesterol substances in coffee,” said David Iggman, a research at Uppsala University who led the study.

“Of course, not all coffee machines manage to filter them,” he continued. “But the problem varies between different types of coffee cars, and concentrations also showed major changes over time.”

Of the 14 cars tested, 11 were cars that created and three were liquid models.

The researchers created the medium and dark baking of the five usual coffee brands on Earth. Two coffee samples are taken from each car every two to three weeks.

While paper filters seem to be effective in maintaining these harmful compounds – Cafestol and Kahweol – from your production, metal filters usually found in office machines seem to leave to slip.

For reference, home methods such as the French press and the crossed coffee showed lower levels of these compounds, while expressing was throughout the map.

Coffee is known to have some health benefits, as research has shown that it can potentially reduce your risk of cancer and dementia and even help you lose weight.

A recent study even shows that drinking two or three cups of coffee in the morning can decrease your risk of premature death compared to any coffee at all.

But coffee can also make your anxiety and blood pressure – both are bad for heart hearth.

A 2024 study found the consumption of over 400 milligrams of caffeine per day, which translates to approximately a venous-size coffee in Starbucks-can increase the dissolved cardiovascular risk in other healthy adults.
