Kuo, 46, began the Hudson Health Pain Clinic and eventually shifted his focus from managing pain to regenerate medicine and cellular health after closing a close encounter with him.

“Despite being a doctor, I was overweight. I was pre-diabetic, I had brain fog. I couldn’t focus,” Kuo told the post. “I was really slow and that was, like, in the late 1930s. I was like, ‘what’s going on?’

The father of two traveled to the world, consulted with other doctors, tested new technology and had a biohacking plan for about six years.

Now trim with burnt features and a boyish face, Kuo practices what preaches in Extension Health, 160 7th Ave, who officially re -tale last summer as a destination for renovation.

“There is no other place in New York City, or honestly, even all over the world that I know about it has all these younger therapeutics,” Kuo said.

He plans to extract an annual $ 250,000 membership that covers the “testing and the most advanced therapeutics”. Two “affordable” levels will start about $ 10,000 a year. Services are now à la carte.

“Most patients these days, they complain of anxiety issues, sleep issues, brain fog issues, energy issues – and traditional medicine really doesn’t have excellent ways to address it,” Kuo said. “And so I’ve come up with all these small protocols and peptide therapy and procedures that can help with this.”

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved any medication to treat age because the agency does not consider aging a disease, but doctors can still prescribe “outside labels” medication.

Level 2 therapeutics are peptides, supplements and medicines. Peptides are short chains of amino acids that affect the function of a cell by connecting to the receptors in its membrane.

In anti -aging treatments, peptides can stimulate collagen production to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, protect the skin from environmental stressors, and function as antioxidants. They can be administered injections, pills or current creams.

Peptides can cost over $ 300 a month – some patients get some of them.

“You can do so much with peptides and hormones,” Kuo said. “You can simply optimize someone metabolic, hormonely, get their levels of inflammation, lower their weight, get their insulin revitalization pleasant and high, simply make their systems work better. At the end of the day, it comes down to cell health.”
