Elon Musk wants to x out of the day saving.
This Sunday, March 9, at 2am, most – but not all – Americans will move their watch an hour and lose an hour of sleep for day -to -day saving time. This time change will also allow those living in regions where clocks are arranged to enjoy the sun until late in November.
The two-year-old change of hours has long been controversial, and Elon Musk made a survey to see how the general public feels about it.
“If the change of day savings time is canceled, do you prefer: an hour ago [or] An hour later, ”the survey X asked.
With 1.3 million votes, 58.1% voted for hours to postpone one hour again as they pushed the hours ahead received 41.9% of the vote.
Musk has a habit of using X poll results to help make his decisions, such as if President Donald Trump has to return to the platform when he first took over in 2022, or if he should withdraw as X CEO, then Twitter.
But despite the results of the Musks survey this time, the question of whether or not the time will be repealed when saving time will still be repealed is still in the air.
Billionaire Tesla, along with Trump, has protected to stop the time of change completely and stay only once throughout the year.
“The Republican Party will use its best efforts to eliminate the time of saving day light, which has a small but strong electoral, but it should not! The time of saving is inappropriate and very expensive for our nation,” Trump wrote in December.
In 2022, the US Senate voted unanimously to get rid of the change of time twice a year and to make permanent day saving time, meaning that the watches will not “fall back” with an hour in November. However, she failed to spend home.
As in Congress, the debate on day saving time is controversial among Americans everywhere.
“I think we should go to the savings of the day [sic] Time on Sunday, March 9 and just stay there forever, ”replied one person for Musk.

“Stay in real time. There is no longer time saving of the day, ”someone threw inside.
“It should be left alone and never go forward artificially in the spring to earn the evening time,” one suggested.
Others stressed that in 1974, President Richard Nixon tried to keep the US at the time of permanent day saving, so no hours were moved, but the measure was as unpromising as President Gerald Ford later the time later to change again in the country.
Trump even accepted the separated opinion on Thursday when executive orders signed, Axios reported.
“I assume people would like to have more light later, but some people want to have more light earlier because they don’t want to take their children to school in the dark,” he said. “Already a lot of a fifty -fifty issue and it’s something I can do, but many people like it in one way, many people like it on the other side.”
Meanwhile, some states do not already observe the time of saving time – Hawaii and Arizona do not participate except the Navajo nation in Northeast Arizona.
Hawaii does not observe the time of saving the day due to the closure of his location at the equator, which means his sun’s days do not change often throughout the year.
Meanwhile, Arizona does not observe the time of saving the day because the state simply decided that there was no reason for it.
