The drunk tourist gets a diving into the Trevi source of Rome – and is stopped for life after clashing with the cops: ‘Alcohol was obviously involved’

On Sunday, three visitors from New Zealand on vacation to Rome collided with police after the attack to be thrown into the famous Trevi capital fountain.

The iconic tourist attraction was completed in 1762 and covers one side of Palazzo Poly in Central Rome – with its statues of the tritons leading the carriage of Mr. Oceanus’s shell, illustrating the theme of water whitening.

Yeardo, about 21 million tourists visit Rome, with many people making a stop at the Trevi fountain.

In 2024, it underwent a clear $ 330,000, during which tourists were redirected to throw their coins and congratulations in a small, sad temporal pool near the source.
