The average woman currently has eight unanswered questions about her health.
This was revealed in a new study of 2,000 women who experience pelvic issues – and the results found that younger women have even more questions.
General Z respondents have an average of 11 unanswered health questions compared to only five for the surveyed children’s booms.
Perhaps this is because the respondents showed the age of 40, as a point than being more motivated to answer their health -related questions.
Prior to that, some women are left with their theories about what is happening – the things they believe can be written on their bodies but not proven.
Performed by Talker Research on behalf of intmina, the survey found that younger women were also more likely to come up with these “theory”. General Z women surveyed had on average five theories about their health – compared to two children’s booms.
These theories can be the result of women who need numerous appointments of doctors to receive answers about their health concerns. On average, it took women three appointments to get the right information about their pelvic issues.
And before they had the answers, 71% of the surveyed women said there was a period of time that they know something was right, but they could not identify what it was.
“It is concerned that so many women have remained in limbo when they come and address their pelvic health,” said Dunja Kokotovic, Global Intmina brand manager. “When women do not receive the right diagnosis immediately, they cannot get the care they need, which often leads to a decrease in their physical and emotional well -being. We are committed to educating women about the symptoms and signs of pelvic issues, empowering them to seek answers and treatment before. “
The survey examined how pelvic issues have affected women’s daily lives – and found that they had a widespread influence.
Women said pelvic floor issues have not only affected their physical health and fitness routines (31%), but also their emotional health (42%) and their mental health (39%).
This is besides their romantic relationships (36%) and their social life (28%).
Four in 10 women (39%) have taken time from second work for pain or discomfort caused by pelvic issues – and 47% said their pelvic health concerts prevent them from achieving specific milestones.
These issues also receive a financial fee: the average woman surveyed spends $ 334.50 a month to maintain or improve their pelvic health.
This includes physical therapy and exercise regimes ($ 79.70), medicines ($ 74.70), doctor’s visits ($ 90.80) and follow -up a specific diet ($ 89.30).
And there is also a fee for women’s self-esteem-35% said their pelvic issues have made them much more aware of their bodies.
“Forty -two percent of the surveyed women admitted that they did not immediately pay attention to the early signs of pelvic issues,” Kokotovic said. “We want to help change this.
