Mom ‘Traumatized’ after finding hundreds of mistakes in her Aldi pasta: ‘Absolute Feeling’

There is nothing more disappointing than finding something in your food that is not thought to be there – especially if you have already started cooking.

An Aussie mother has only shared that. But commentators on social media have revealed a simple solution.

“Absolute the worst feeling”

An Aussie mother has received Aldi Mums on Facebook group this week, sharing an unfortunate end for her dinner.

“When you are a mother of 2 under 2 and you have limited cooking time, this is the worst absolute feeling,” the woman said in the post.

She also shared some photos show her pasta, purchased in Aldi. Once boiled, hundreds of small bugs sailed to the surface – Yuck!

“They’re quite ordinary!”

Commentators in the post were able to confirm that they were actually Weevils – a common finding in your culinary pantry.

“Only Weevils. Very common with all dry goods (pasta, rice, flour, etc.). They are usually packed like eggs and bloom when they have better conditions, so you are likely to have eaten steep eggs at one point or another, ”said one commenter.

“Weevils and other small insects are quite common in all wheat, rice and nuts. Natural natural and not something that quality control can control,” said another.

Others said it was as common as the problem happened to them as well.

“The same pasta had them for us! They’re so gross. I refuse to buy pasta now, I traumatized me,” said one commentator.

“It happened to my pasta very only small small ants entered the closed pack while it was in the pantry!” said another.

“We had the same thing last week! It had to throw all things and take the cause of my hungry elderly 2 years old,” a third agreed.

“Put them in the refrigerator!”

While weevils are not dangerous, they are not the most pleasant thing to find in the food you just eat.

So some commentators offered a trick to get rid of them for good.

“In high humidity/ tropical areas occur with pasta, wheat, flour, rice. When you bring the bag home from the store, put it in the refrigerator for 24 hours. It kills them before they develop in this. Or store in the refrigerator if you have the room, ”said one person.

“I put it in the fridge and then a super closed container. I once took a pantry moth from the bird seeds and the Lord who was terrible, “another said.
