A device that aims to ease the minds of parents is giving them more to worry.
A panic mother was sent to Reddit to share her good meeting with an unauthorized user who gained access to their baby monitor and used her to talk to their newborn.
Anonymous Redditor claimed that she was talented a “free” camera activated by Yihome WiFi from Amazon that reveals movement, allows parents to listen and chat through the device, and contains stamps in records.
“The only issue,” she noted, was that Bluetooth was not activated, meaning it had to be connected to WiFi and used through the relevant smartphone app.
The mother placed the camera on the baby crib and, just a day of action, decided her son to sleep when she went to use the bathroom.
