The list of children’s birthday holiday rules seems to be growing the day.
Should you invite the whole class or some selected?
Can we choose for cake and rods, or offer only “healthy” foods?
“Follow all four rules, or a handmade card”
According to a recent tiktok separated by Mother Brittany Robinson, “birthday parties are getting out of control.”
“My daughter was sent to a birthday invitation to RSVP’D. Three days before the holiday, the mother sends a text to all parents [saying]’We have a strict rhetoric that we would like parents to follow when they made gifts.’ “
In the message, the toys had to follow four rules: colorless, noiseless, not to be without debris and not to be made of plastic.
When Brittany checked what exactly was thought of with “no waste”, she learned that she would not say anything that came to the packaging available and had to be made from environmentally friendly materials.
The mother of the three -year -old birthday girl continued to determine that if parents could not follow the rules, they would prefer a handmade card.
She even refused the cards purchased in the store, as this would also produce waste.
Just receiving the message a few days before the party, Brittany says the requests were “extreme”.
“At that point, we don’t even want to go to this party. I don’t want to make a mistake and be the one who broke the rule. It was much easier in the 90s. “
“Montessori Toys”
If you are wondering what exactly can fit these criteria, commentators suggested that Montessori toys will fit the bill. These toys are usually wooden and “motivate children to explore, solve problems, learn practical skills and become more independent and self-sufficiency”.
Comments on the post were shared, with some saying they would not expect such restrictions to be implemented to anyone who participated in a throwing party.
“We limit the screens, but I don’t expect it in other homes. We buy free coloring but don’t expect it from others. My kids can watch extra TV or eat different snacks when with their friends… . ”Wrote a parent.
Another common, “We have the exact same rules of the gifts, we said we would not get a gift better, then get [sic] A loud unbearable noisy toy that we will not use and donate. We do not make toys that need to be bright, have a sound and we try to adhere to recycled and such materials. Natural toys and materials such as wooden toys etc. 100% related to them. “
Some shared their party experiences, such as this mother: “My 7th student went to a celebration for the Tiffany & Co-ME birthday. They all got a band necklace Tiffany, a truth. “
And one joke: “Maybe the child would enjoy a sour beginner?”
After all, Brittany showed in the comments that they decided to agree to participate in the party altogether, and created a fever.
Regardless of your gifts of gifts, maybe we can all agree to give more than a few days of notice?
