Model destroyed after 135 $ dress order seems nothing like advertised: ‘They cheated on me’

A woman who ordered two online dresses remained destroyed when the clothes appeared and came “cloth pieces”.

Theidi Kale, 21, ordered a corset -style dress and a continuous dress from the Millya online retailer in November last year.

Theid spent approximately $ 135 on the order including shipping and custom fees.

She had planned to wear one of the dresses at the Miss Royal Regents beauty contest in South Africa on December 7.

But the package did not arrive until January 23 – 93 after the order was placed.

When she opened the package, Theid was shocked to see that the dresses did not come to the images advertised on the website.

Theid, a part -time model and peach from Johannesburg, South Africa said: “I was disappointed.

“It didn’t make sense why they would send only a piece of cloth that was of low quality instead of what was shown in the picture.

“Not only did I expect 90 plus days, I also didn’t get what I ordered.

“The fabric was free, the brightness fell everywhere and the quality was just terrible.”

Theid contacted Miliflan for a refund, but it’s not until the video goes viral online – raising over 1.5 million views – that she received an answer.

Instead of offering a full refund, Theid said that Milifla offered her a 10% refund – about $ 12.50 – and allowed her to wear the dress.

Theid refused and insisted on returning the article, but the company warned him that transport fees could be more expensive than the reimbursement itself.

She said: “They try so hard to convince me that the costs of return would be very high and that I would probably live the package along the way.

“But if big shops like Shein and tension allow for return, why can’t they?”

Despite numerous e -mail, Miuflean has since stopped responding and Theid is still waiting for its refund.

She said: “I trusted them because I saw comments on Pinterest but now I know better.

“They cheated on me and I don’t want others to spend the same thing.”
