Here is a title tale from Crypt.
Experts believe that Lincoln’s memorial sits on a rare secret.
Forty-five meters below the former president’s iconic sculpture is the sketch of a woman suspected of being Theda Bara.

The drawing found on the memorial basement pillars in Washington DC describes the profile of a woman with dark lipstick, dark eyebrows, dark eye and a cigarette hanging from her lips.
Near the outline, the word “vamp” – inspired by one of the characters Bara – is written with an exaggerated scenario.
“I think there is a competitive case (if the circumstantial) that will become” that doodle is Bara, Mike Litterst, an National Mall spokesman and memorial parks, The Wall Street Journal told an email.
He first heard the theory a few years ago from a former Park Service and stands next to him.

Bara was famous as she began watching silent movies starting around 1914 often playing bad seduction. Despite harsh ridicule, people gathered in theaters to watch her films.
“In 1915 (in the same year they were finishing pouring the basic pillars into undercroft) she had her role of progress in a movie called ‘a fool there was’ in which she played a character called ‘The Vampire’ , ”wrote Littters.
Eventually shortened in “Vamp” the character of Bara “is the origin of the term we use today to refer to a seductive woman who uses men,” he explained.

Time, description and title of Doodle all led experts believe that Doodle was meant to be Ba.
“Again, all the circumstance, but I would have the opportunity that some lovers of lovers working in the Lincoln Memorial go to the cinema and sees the” vamp “, then in a quiet moment in Undercroft the next day draws a picture of it and Her photo and her photograph and her photo and her photograph and her photo and the picture label it accordingly, ”Littest wrote.
Scandalous sketch is not the only one in CROFT. Doodles of Mutt and Jeff cartoon characters, and a figure believed to be President Woodrow Wilson – who was on duty during construction – are also observed among others.

Stephen Potter, a retired regional archaeologist for the region of the national service capital, told the WSJ that he carataloged some of the graffiti in the 1980s, noting “some who were extremely well executed”.
The drawings are allegedly made with the carpenter’s pen because “everyone had them in the slot of their Bible pants,” he said.
Experts believe that many of the inscriptions – including “Vamp” – were created by “Johnny Bosco”, who signed his name with the same bloom displayed in most graffiti.
It is not clear what was his connection to the page.
The new Memorial Visitors Center will include the area where the inscriptions are, but copies of most of it are likely to appear for viewers.
The project is set to complete until July 2026.
The new center will include a museum, shop and exhibition section, interior views of the Undercroft Cathedral and a comprehensive theater presentation, Park service said.
