Security is the new luxury in Gotham.
A new application called Protector will provide access to New Yorkers to the former armed fighter and law enforcement to extinguish them across the city.
“High -profile ultra individuals like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos have dedicated full -time protective teams, but for most people, safety options are more challenging than it should be,” the founder of the Protective App and CEO Nick Sarath told the post this this week
The app, which begins on Tuesday at NYC and Los Angeles, costs $ 200 per hour for a defender and a driver.
But the price can be increased depending on the client’s “mission” and if additional safety, full motorbike or other specialized measures are needed, said Sarath, 25 years old.
Clients can even choose how they want their dressed defenders – official business, casual or “casual tactical” business. Vehicle choices include Cadillac Escalades and Chevy Suburbans.
When the app for the first time, users will have to reserve the service the day before, but eventually, even faster, CEO said.
“Whether you need someone to mix with your siege or serve as an obvious preventative, the choice is yours,” said Sarath, who said he created the app to simplify personal protection.
Two influencers had their first shot in the app last week – and used the call of a pair of protective plaster to choose them at Newark Airport after flew from Los Angeles for New York Fashion Week.
“We simply ordered the bodyguards to take us from the airport,” Josie Francis and Nicole Agner, both 29, titled now-viral in short. 7 videos showing their bodyguards that accompany them to the ASP.
“Uber may not disgust,” they write in the clip, which has been over 10 million times.
All defenders have licenses to carry out hidden weapons – and are being packaged while in office, Sarath added, refusing to provide further details.
This is comforting, according to the influencers, who recounted in another video they ‘never felt more in our lives, “thanks to the four times the weapons that were drawn to them.
“Like two girls in their twenties, NYC experiences in this way was extraordinary – we have never felt more confident in the city. We have never experienced a service as a protector and frankly, we already have attraction,” he said Francis and Agner for The Post this week.
Bodyguards are selected based on “their experience of years and specialized units in which they served,” said Sarath, a former Facebook product and the application creator.
They include former members of the Poraced Air Force, SWAT and Seal Teams, and special operations forces, he said.
“During each task, my number one goal is to keep our customers safe. This means evaluating the possible threats before they occur, predicting risks before they escalate, and make sure anyone who is protecting can move during their day without worrying, ”said a defender named Jim, I who refused to give his surname for security reasons.
Being protectors is a “natural adaptation,” Jim explained, who said he attracts his experience nearly 30 years as a police officer in Los Angeles, and forms the war corput war sniper.
“People hire us because they have to feel and secure without affecting their lifestyle. If they can focus on their lives while I treat their safety, he is the realized mission, ”he said.
