It was missing on dates – from a hair.
After years of suspects, her hair influenced how men treat her, 23-year-old Abby, who has naturally curly hair, tested.
The single London, which did not secure her surname, created two different dating profiles on the hinges – one with her photo with curly hair and one with pictures of her straight sports hair.
She revealed that she received the most interest from the men in the profile that presents strictly tight-haired photos-142% more to be exactly.
“When I was out, I noticed the difference in the opposite attention I would get when my hair was straight, when they were curly,” Abby, who works as an office administrator assistant for the Daily Mail.
“When I fix my hair. I feel like it’s a guarantee that I will get more attention from men.”
And it is not alone.
In a video with over 12 million views, Tikkker Elizabeth McGvernn said the hitting of the city with curly hair “means that I will buy my drinks for the night,” calling it “disgusting man”.
“I notice a change in attention when wearing my natural hair, especially when I’m out,” the 22-year-old New York creator earlier told him.
“I have noticed that it seems to me that I get a lot of compliments from women, and it is often a start of conversation with other girls who wear their natural hair.”
Men, however, are a different story.
“When I styled my hair, I feel like it is a guarantee that I will get a lot of attention from the men I do not know,” she continued.
Abby began fixing her hair more than a decade -in action, a habit that gained compliments and gripped for the years ahead.
“When I was younger, I didn’t really know how to styled my natural hair. I didn’t even know my kind of curly, especially because most of my family and close friends had naturally right hair,” she explained.
“I would get compliments whenever I fix my hair, which I think subconsciously made me feel insecure and stopped me to hug my natural hair.”
While she is based on her natural curls, her hair styling with heat is “more manageable”, she said, adding that “there is less frizz so it is easy to prove different haters for data”.
“Consciously, I feel like my straight hair looks more united, so I would say that I often feel safe with straight hair,” she added.
She does not think that her hairstyle will necessarily determine a second date, however, explaining that more data is determined by the link, not by submission.
“If my hair is the crucial factor, then he is eventually not the right boy anyway,” she said.
