This community is sticking together.
“Stick Nation” is a strange move that explodes on social media, with millions of people expressing their admiration for … pieces of wood.
On Instagram, @officialstickreViews has nearly 3 million followers, and in Tiktok – or “Sticktok” as it is now known – the same account has won 782,300 fans and a 12.5 million stunning likes.
The accounts were started by the Pars Boone Hogg and Logan South after finding a World Worldwn on the side of a Utah trail in 2023.
The duo thought it would be fun to create a dedicated account to review sticks, saying that the one who found had “some great grains on it” and a “beautiful grip”.
At the time since then, “Stick Nation” has become a sensation.
Last April, Hogg and the South were profiled in the New York Times, quickly expanding their extension.
Only this month, celebs such as that of Manuel-Miranda and Dermot Mulroney have presented both their sticks for account review.
Now, the “Stickhead” community even has its own language.
“Modified” sticks are carved or modified in some way by human hands, while “Natty” sticks are all natural.
Stickheads like to have fun with works as well. A summary shows a man and his daughter on the shores of Loch Ness in Scotland, where they found a stick they called “Log Ness Monster”.
While the Lists have joined the man, most ratings were posted by regular people with very irregular sticks. There are one that resembles snakes, magician staff, arms, squid and even hands.
One person presented their moss -covered stick that he found in Latvia, saying, “It is useful to fight your enemies because it is easy and bold.”
Meanehilr, a woman showed what she called it “snake stick” – a curved piece of wood resists a reptile.
“It works for sneezing and for gremlins,” she said.

“I love those who have a story, but also a kind of sentimental value for them,” he shared.
Hogg and South recently organized a “Stick of the Year” competition where an “ancient energy sword” won the highest price.
They are also branching offline with “contagious questions”, where people will go to a real-life search for sticks as well as a “travel log” which would allow different community members to pass sticks to each other .
“We really want to turn the page and the community to know to remove them from their phones and in nature and to interact with each other and connect,” Hogg said. “So this is a great goal for us this year.”
