I set strict bridesmaid rules – haters say I won’t have any friends after my wedding

It’s do or die to stand by this bride.

Most girls preparing to take the plunge have an extremely specific vision for their wedding—including the look and scope of their bridal party.

“It’s NOT your day,” the South Carolina-based bride said, launching into her list of marital mandates in an Instagram post. “Do what the bride asks of you or don’t be at the wedding.â€

“It’s NOT your day,” she wrote. “If the bride wants certain makeup or hair for everyone, and you don’t wear makeup” don’t be at the wedding.

“It’s usually the ones who scream, ‘I don’t want all that,’ who end up looking less flattering than everyone else,” wrote the tyrannical brunette, “Now hair can be flexible if you have a specific. style ( locks, pixie cuts, etc.).â€

And the despotic diva’s questions do NOT end there.

She joins the ranks of many wild fiances who have imposed strange bylaws on less fortunate friends they deemed worthy (or more desirable) of attending their nuptials.

A “slut” has branded the girls in her bridal party, forcing them all to wear gold necklaces with her name on them during the ceremony.

Another soon-to-be married insisted that members of her clique each take out a $20,000 loan to attend her pre-wedding escapades. Her list of “non-negotiable” expenses included a $700 dress in NYC, $1,200 in beauty treatments, a $500 spa weekend in the Berkshires and $1,000 for various parties during her homecoming week.

Katie Olson Hart, a Utah bride who walked down the aisle in July 2022, was slammed for having a “tonsil mom wedding” after footage of her mandatory bridesmaid training went viral.

And the South Carolina bride is now facing a similarly scathing rebuke from online protesters against her wild day ordinances.

“It’s NOT your day,” she echoed before her third rule. “Act as you would want your bridal party to act if it were your day.â€

“It is NOT your day. You seem jealous when you object to every little thing, ESPECIALLY things you DIDN’T pay for,” she spat. “Be grateful or don’t be at the wedding.â€

The svelte beauty went on to write, “You’re the bride of the team.” If you want to act like something less, switch to TEAM GUEST. Keep a seat and throw rice (preferably uncooked).â€

Amazed Instagram users shared the set of bridal rules on Reddit. Instagram

And, of course, her last necessity had to do with money.

“It’s NOT your day,” repeated the bride, who disabled her comments section on Instagram, preventing viewers from giving her a piece of their mind.

“If you can’t be at the wedding, tell the bride in advance,” she added. “Don’t accept and then drink pennies, Especially if it’s a year or more out. Plan accordingly.â€

Digital naysayers, however, took to Reddit to shamelessly bash the soon-to-be-released under a screenshot of her controversial calls to action.

“At least she’s giving everyone a daily chance to join TEAM NO GO,” said one commenter.

“Very disgusting. “It’s NOT your day, it’s MY day.” That may be true, but who wants to celebrate someone with such a selfish and arrogant attitude? You are a bride for a day, not a queen that everyone should worship,” wrote another.

“She’s going to end up friendless if she keeps this up,” predicted one equally offended Redditor.

“THE TEAM DOESN’T EVEN SEND GIFTS,” shouted another.

“This is absolutely unbearable,” said one cynic, who apparently blames the recent wedding boom on the bride’s sense of superiority.

“A prime example of why wedding culture has become exhausting,” the jaded critic continued. “I could go on but I’m boiling just reading this and I want to disconnect.”
