Worker catches nose ring on office chair – leading to wild firefighter rescue caught on video

She was stuck in a bad place.

A woman in the city of Bandung, Indonesia, had to be rescued by an entire squad of firefighters after her nose ring got impossibly caught in a spinning office chair.

“She had a new piercing and was playing around, just playing for fun, before she messed up,” Asep Rizky, an official of the Bandung City Fire Department, told local media, via the Daily Mail.

The unidentified office worker had apparently poked her nose through the chair’s mesh frame when, all of a sudden, she “got stuck,” according to the official.

Security footage taken in the woman’s office shows her slumped back in her chair with her face stuck in the netting like a stick caught in a net.

The staff desperately try to save her by rolling the wheelchair across the room and dropping it on her head as she cries out in pain.

Despite their countless efforts, the employee’s bling remained firmly entangled in the netting and, with no other means, the nose ring community had to call the fire brigade, which quickly arrived on the scene.

After their rescue efforts proved equally fruitless, they wheeled the woman into a van and transported her to the local fire station with a colleague in tow, as seen in the hilarious footage.

The woman’s co-worker couldn’t stifle her laughter, despite her worries that it might come off her nose.

Even the fire brigade saw the funny side. The footage shows them trying to ease her tensions at the station by removing a chainsaw, ax and other heavy tools from her and pretending to set her free.

Fortunately, no saws were required by the rescuers, who finally managed to free the woman from her furniture prison with pliers after 10 excruciating minutes.

The clip ends with the firefighters standing around the woman and cheering as she thanks them profusely.

Thankfully, she emerged unscathed from her unorthodox prison and even posed for a photo with the firemen, complete with chair and nose ring.
