Passenger annoys her colleagues by making dessert from scratch in her seat: ‘Stupidest thing I’ve seen all day’

A gallivanting foodie has managed to create a controversy – after deciding to prepare a dessert from scratch on a recent flight.

Federica Rossi, an Italian food vlogger, created a delicious cheesecake while sitting in a window seat on a Ryanair flight – and even recorded the astonishing stunt.

A 35-second clip on Instagram, which managed to grab over 1.9 million views, detailed the somewhat strange process.

The resident of Turin, Italy, used the plane as her kitchen space to create the dessert in less than 15 minutes.

First, Rossi pulls out a small baking pan, lining the bottom with what appears to be a crumb crust—adding butter and honey to sweeten it.

Then, she adds soft cream cheese on top.

Many people on the internet found the plane grilling session to be unnecessary and inconsiderate.

“Don’t people realize that commercial flights are shared with other passengers?” asked one person.

“Well there it is, dumbest sh-t I’ve seen all day,” sighed one observer.

“So we can use your plane as a kitchen, and you haven’t mentioned it to us before?” wrote one joker.

“Can you stop being so impatient for some likes? I know the flight attendants were talking crazy about this nonsense,” commented one worried onlooker.

Rossi responded to the negative comments, letting viewers know that her baking hack did not affect the flight experience of other passengers.

“I cleaned before and especially after. It took me 15 minutes in silence. I didn’t even leave a crumb and I ate the cake with my two friends who were nearby”, she commented online.

She did not elaborate on how she managed to get all the ingredients to the airport, through security and on board her flight.

Despite Rossi’s unconventional baking method, the passengers on the Ryanair flight probably preferred the smell of the strawberry milkshake lingering on the plane to the stench of a tuna sandwich.

In another episode of gastronomy on the go, a passenger documented how someone on their flight swallowed a tuna melt, which left a fishy aroma throughout the plane.

“Why are we eating a tuna melt on a flight?!?” Zavier Torrence tweeted about a passenger’s controversial meal choice on a Delta flight to Tampa, Florida. “[I] I strongly believe that people who eat on flights should be jailed for 10 days.”

Many travelers resonated with Torrence’s disgust at the fish meal, while others believed people should be free to eat – as long as it didn’t stink.

“Hell yes, I do. It just doesn’t melt a ton,” admitted one person.

“Fish of any kind on a plane is diabolical,” exclaimed one observer.
