Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s home burns in devastating Los Angeles fire: report

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag have reportedly lost their home in the Los Angeles fire.

The reality TV star’s home burned down on Tuesday, according to TMZ.

Located in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, Pratt and Montag’s residence was at the epicenter of the fire first reported Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. PT.

Sources told TMZ that the house “burned to the ground,” but Pratt, 41, and Montag, 38, were able to evacuate with their entire family safely. An insider also told the outlet that the couple are “devastated” by the loss.

Before evacuating, Pratt posted a video to his Instagram Story showing fire engines dumping water on a nearby blaze.

The “Hills” alums aren’t the only celebrities affected by the fire, which has ripped through the star-studded Pacific Palisades area. James Woods revealed that he had evacuated his home in the area.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency after the wildfires have burned more than 1,200 acres, including several homes, and have zero containment, according to CalFire.

A red flag warning from the National Weather Service was issued Monday and is in effect through Wednesday for much of Southern California.

Residents of Pacific Palisades have been told by local officials to “evacuate now.”

However, evacuees who heeded the warning faced traffic jams on roads outside the hilltop community, leaving many to abandon their cars as they fled to safety.

Abandoned cars posed a problem for fire crews, who had to bulldoze them off the road so fire trucks could access the fire area.

Actor Steven Guttenberg made an impassioned plea on local news station KTLA around noon Tuesday, pleading with people who dumped their vehicles on the road to leave their keys so he and others could move them.

“We really need people to move their cars,” he said on the live stream. “So if you leave your car behind, leave the key there so a guy like me can move your car so these fire trucks can get up there.”

“It’s really, really important,” he added.

Parts of Malibu were also under an evacuation order as of Tuesday night.
