The sellers are Roslyn, NY, transplants David and April Reimer. The couple purchased the contemporary home in 2021 for a then-North Miami record $10.6 million from Neil and Jennifer Sazant, former owners of the historic Sagamore Hotel South Beach. They sold that iconic property in 2016 for $63 million.
The Sazants made a massive pandemic-era profit after buying the house, at 1995 Northeast 118th Road, for $3.94 million in 2017, according to property records.
Modern Point Lot property in San Souci Estates sits on .43 acres and comes with 260 feet of bay frontage. Spanning 5,671 square feet, the home features five bedrooms, six bathrooms and is all about a modern indoor/outdoor living vibe. There is also a one bedroom, one bathroom guest cottage on the property.
The home, which was built in 1972 and renovated in 2015, opens to a foyer that leads to a sunlit great room with 20-foot-high ceilings and an open galley kitchen with water views.
