My $1 million win makes dating hard – I’m looking for love but women only want a sugar daddy

He has yet to come up with triple hearts in life.

Hitting the jackpot would seemingly increase one’s value in the romantic market. However, a Colorado gambling influencer who won a million dollars playing slots in Las Vegas claims that’s not the case – because most of his potential women just want a “sugar daddy”.

“It’s hard to know who you can trust in any relationship,” Scott Richter, 53, of Denver, told Kennedy News and Media about his love struggles, which can be akin to playing roulette. romantic.

The father-of-two hit the jackpot last year after hitting the jackpot of $1,081,106 from a $250 bet in Sin City. He now regularly posts videos of himself winning and losing on the machines to his more than 600,000 subscribers on YouTube, where he goes by the moniker “Jackpot King”.

“They [some female fans] you have bad addictions and you think, this guy is always in the casino, he’s going to give me money, this is going to be the best, and we’re going to be in the casino all day,” Richter said. Kennedy News/@thebigjackpot

His $1 million slot jackpot video, which has been viewed over 1.1 million times, marked the first time an influencer recorded a win of that caliber. Richter films about two to three times a week and also runs the Big Jackpot app.

Despite going from rags to riches, the cut-throat bachelor remains unlucky in love because the only girls interested in him are gold diggers, he discovered.

“Some [women] they’re probably looking for a sugar daddy or someone to help them with their gambling and that’s not really what I’m looking for in a relationship,” the millionaire said. “Sometimes it can be hard to know that who can you trust or who is really there for you.”

Slot Shark says its social media channel is partly to blame, claiming that its constant upload of gambling videos attracts people looking for some dough. During meet-and-greets, he’s often taken in by opportunists, much like Robert De Niro’s gambling savant in “Casino.”

“Sometimes I have big crowds. I’ll have hundreds of people come to meet and greets and different events that I do,” Richter said. “I’ve met some female fans and stuff at the casino, but a lot of the people I meet are more gambling oriented.”

He added, “They have bad addictions and think, ‘This guy is always in the casino. He will give me money. This will be the best and we will be in the casino all day.’ “

The slot machine maven doesn’t live like a high roller, either, ditching the mink coats and cutting-edge shoes for $80 Sketchers and $40 t-shirts.

“I’m not really a big brag about myself; I live a very simple life,” said Richter.

However, he said he enjoys some free perks that come with being a skilled player, including lavish lobster banquets and even Super Bowl and Formula 1 race tickets on occasion.

Over the years, Richter has become adept at distinguishing potential soul mates from those whose interest in him runs skin deep.

“I can tell if someone is like that,” he said. “If you meet someone and they just ask you to gamble or give them money to gamble and hang out, it’s pretty obvious.

“I’m not looking to meet people I meet from those who see me on my social media channels; that’s not where I’m looking for people.”

And Richter hasn’t let the crowds of gambling groups discourage him from trying to find lady luck.

“It would definitely be nice to have someone to celebrate my wins or comfort me when I lose,” the Coloradan savant said. “I think some people are definitely looking for money, although I’ve met other ladies who have money too.”

Despite being on the road 20 days a month, Richter isn’t looking for a long-distance relationship or flights.

“I’m busy, but if there’s someone I like and care about, I’ll make time to make it work,” he said.
