Wife furious after husband takes single friend’s Christmas card – sparks heated argument

Her husband’s bachelor friend looks like a real savage card – and this Grinchy woman is taking no chances this Christmas.

Tidings of comfort and joy are often expressed through cheerful greeting cards sent between loved ones during the holidays. However, a married hottie is questioning the motives of her husband’s friend, who sends him a sweet message in celebration of December. 25.

And it’s sparking a heated debate online – is the woman mean or kind?

“Every Christmas, my husband gets a Christmas card from this divorced girl, she’s a single mom,” J Nobles, a TikTok content creator, explained to her over 63,000 trending viewers.

“I have never met her and she sends him the Christmas card that was just addressed to him,” continued the blond mother of two children, adding that the groom has known this other woman for years.

“I think it’s a little weird,” she said before comparing herself to the “Grinch” in the video’s caption.

A handful of unsuspecting commentators think the nobles’ concerns are unwarranted, arguing that the bachelor’s intentions are pure.

But social media skeptics are clamoring Fa-la-la-la-la, La-la-la – Nah!insisting that the unnamed lady’s annual letters addressed exclusively to her son are, indeed, inappropriate.

“I would have zero problems. They have been friends for years? One card a year? I don’t see a problem. Not everyone is a threat to your relationship,” argued a calm onlooker.

“It’s not that serious,” another partially barked at the Nobles.

But the virtual cries of the unconcerned were almost drowned out by cyber-cynics who refuse to see the repeated breaches through rose-tinted glasses.

“It just turned to him. I think not. I would write back to the sender and send it back out,” one supporter wrote.

“If my male friends were married, I would address the card to him and his wife,” claimed another. “Even if I’ve never met him, it’s called respect for you and him.”

Nobels isn’t the only woman dealing with messy mail drama this year.

Believe it or not, Christmas cards have recently become a bone of contention in a number of households across the country.

Jenny Smith, a Georgia-based realtor, was deemed a “house wrangler” for sending well-intentioned holiday messages to former clients. One outraged homeowner even left her a scathing voicemail, claiming her card made his wife think he had bought a house for a “secret girlfriend”.

And it’s not out of place to wonder if your significant other is cheating during the most wonderful time of the year.

In fact, a recent study by Datingroo, a UK-based review site for online dating platforms, found that 35% of women and 31% of men in relationships have started illicit sex encounters over Christmas.

Baker Sorekli, a relationship expert, has also previously warned that infidelity often occurs between friendly colleagues at office holiday parties.

“I’m not saying that if you have no intention of ever cheating on your partner and you’re falling in love with your partner, that the working Christmas holiday puts you at a higher risk of cheating,” he explained. “[However,] Anecdotally from my experience as a clinical psychologist for 18 odd years, it tends to happen a bit more around this period.”
